3rd Sun Ravenshead & Hucknall Ramblers 9.00 am. Starting from Ford near Ridgeway, this 6 mile (approx.) walk twists & turns along Moss Valley & River. No steep climbs, one or two uphill sections but nothing too hard! Contact Georgina 07969 353793.

9th Sat Ravenshead & Hucknall Ramblers 8.30 am. An extremely tough moorland 9 mile ramble. Start from Glossop then up Lightside Ridge across ‘boggy’ Shelf Moss to the Waine Stones. Continuing to Bleaklow Head, Hern & Higger Shelf Stones. Descend via Doctor’s Gate. Contact Merv 01623 799007.

Pick up the Pennine Bridleway to Lantern Pike & Matleymoor Farm. Cross Middle Moor before descending back into Hayfield via Snake Path. Contact Merv 01623 799007.

4th  Sat Ravenshead & Hucknall Ramblers 9.00 am. The Dales of Holmesfield & Barlow. A moderate to strenuous 7.25 mile walk on well used field paths & bridleways. Several steep climbs with many stiles & streams to cross – a small amount of road walking. Contact Allan or Kath 01623 797321.

2nd  Sun Ravenshead & Hucknall Ramblers 9.00 am. Pennine Way to Kinder Scout. From Edale we climb the Nab to Ringing Roger & follow the edge to Grinds Brook. Cross Edale Moor to Crowden Tower, descending via Crowden Brook to Upper Booth & back to Edale. Contact Merv 01623 799007.

8th  Sat Ravenshead & Hucknall Ramblers 9.00 am. Sturton-le-Steeple, Clarborough & North Leverton. 7.5 miles on green lanes with wide views of old churches & the only working windmill in Notts. Much of the route follows the Trent Valley Way. Contact Geoff or Jill 01623 484636.
